Research Questionnaire (revised July 2009)

We believe that home educating families are in a unique position to contribute to a better understanding of how children learn to read. We have already learned a great deal from home educating families about the process of learning to read and would now like to obtain a more comprehensive picture. If you are interested in contributing your own experiences of children learning literacy at home we would be very interested and grateful to hear from you. If your child was taught to read in school but you still feel that what you did at home had a significant impact then please complete the questionnaire too.

Obviously we can only learn so much from a questionnaire and from your point of view it can sometimes be incredibly difficult to squeeze answers to complex questions into a few words. We would be very interested to talk to you in person, no matter what your experiences good or bad, structured or informal. Anything you tell us is in confidence, no real names are used in published material and if you change your mind you can withdraw from the research at any time up to publication.

If you would like to talk to us further about this questionnaire or would like us to arrange an interview, please add your contact details before submitting your form. If you are not comfortable providing your contact details, that\'s fine, just leave the rest of the form blank and click on the \'send\' button.
